Ylva Mini Tights

The Ylva Mini Tights are knitted bottom-up, in the round.

Begin by knitting the legs separately, after which they are joined onto the same circular needle and the work continues as one piece. The cable pattern runs along the sides of the legs from the ribbing at the bottom edge up to the top part.

Before the top ribbing, a few German Short Rows are knitted for the back piece, which improves the fit of the tights, especially in the seat area.

I recommend reading the entire pattern through before beginning the work.

The Ylva Mini Tights are designed with approximately 2 cm of positive ease.

If the child's measurements fall between two sizes, I recommend choosing the larger size so that the tights don't become too small too quickly and to ensure a longer period of use.

Gauge: 26 sts x 34 rows in stockinette stitch with 3.0 mm needles = 10 cm

Needles: Double-pointed needles and circular needles (40 cm or 60 cm) in sizes 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm. You can replace DPNs with a long circular needle if you use the Magic Loop technique.
