The Ylva Mini Sweater is knitted bottom-up in the round. First, the body hem and sleeves are knitted separately, after which they are joined onto the same circular needle and knitted in the round as one piece. The cable pattern runs along the side of the sleeve from the bottom up to the ribbing. Before the neckline ribbing, a few rows of German Short Rows are knitted to shape the back of the neck; this is done for all sizes except the smallest. For the smallest sizes, the neck is knitted flat back and forth, and a button closure is added to the neckline to make dressing easier.

I recommend reading through the instructions before you start.

The Ylva Mini Sweater is designed with approximately 8 cm of positive ease. If you are between two sizes, I recommend knitting the larger size so it doesn't become too small too quickly.
